Happy Tuesday! Yesterday was the beginning of summer and the longest day of the year. Join Adam and I as we celebrate the coming shorter days talking about some of the following, mixed with a series of puns and uninformed world cup opinions. As usual, we’ll be on CKCUfm at the usual time.

Police arrest three in RBC fire bombing.

David Chernushenko tosses his hat in what is clearly going to be the most interesting race in the election.

In a shocking twist, the RCMP was in the wrong in the Dziekanski tasering.

Waterloo holds tight on shutting down football prorgram because of drug use.

Hardline separatist thinks that separatist party should have plan for separation.

I really don’t like renaming things that were in honour of somebody. Like the Mt. Logan -> Mt. Trudeau idea, or the Lester B. Pearson Award -> Ted Lindsay Award. What’s next - term-limited namings?

You know, Prince Edward was an important historic figure, but he’s hardly done much for Canada and he never went to the Island himself, so how about we name it after a true Canadian hero: Don Cherry.

(I say this knowing Prince Edward himself supplanted an apostle.)
